A Pristine Wilderness takes you along the Twelfth Expedition's doomed journey into Area X, a stretch of Florida coast uninhabited since an unknown catastrophe took place years prior. An area surrounded by a border of unknown origin and physics, where nature has taken a deviant path; corrupting and twisting that which was once familiar.

The full length debut of ambient/drone artist Intrusive Thoughts stretches samples of the familiar into echoes of what they once were, bound to create a unique sense of unease and wonder much like Area X's redefinition of the natural.
